Embark on a journey of art and creativity with guest presenter, edutainer, and library consultant Will Stuck. Together, you will celebrate and explore artistic expression as you unpack the 2025 Summer Library Program theme "Color Our World."
Join us at the Wichita Advanced Learning Library to discover how to inspire creativity in reading, learning, and programming that engages all ages with imaginative ways to express art.
At this in-person event, you will:
- Identify programming and craft ideas for different ages
- Explore interpretations of the 2025 theme to best serve your library community
- Gain promotional ideas for summer programs and beyond
- Generate or renew enthusiasm for summer library programming

Guest presenter Will Stuck is a speaker, workshop presenter, and storytelling edutainer. Will has worked in the public library setting for twenty-four years. The last 18 of those years have been spent working in or managing Children's Services. Whether presenting workshops for various state libraries, speaking at conferences and staff training, or just acting like a fool for laughs in front of children, Will's passion for stories, books, and libraries shines through. Will presented at the 2019 SCKLS summer library workshop held at the Cosmosphere in Hutchinson.

Registration Details | Registration is limited. Deadline for registration is seven days prior to the event. Cancellations are requested 24 hours in advance of the event.

Special Needs| SCKLS may be able to accommodate special needs with at least 48 hours advance notice. Contact SCKLS Training Specialist Katherine Hughes.
Meals | A lunch will be provided compliments of SCKLS. Standard, vegetarian, and gluten-free options will be available. Meal preference must be communicated at the time of registration. Individuals with food allergies should exercise caution and may bring their own lunch. SCKLS will reimburse meal costs up to $15 with the presentation of a receipt.
Meeting Location: This event will be held in the Wichita Advanced Learning Library conference room located on the main floor at 711 W. 2nd St. in Wichita. Click here for Google Maps directions.
Building Access: The Wichita Advanced Learning Library will be open to attendees at 10 a.m. No attendees will be admitted before 10 a.m. For your convenience, please park in the west parking lot.
