It's the perfect opportunity to discover and explore new crafting skills and to see if your library community might enjoy this fun activity as a summer library adventure.

Join other summer library program planners for this exclusive paper crafting experience with expert guide, local artist, and entrepreneur Emily Mallory. In this live webinar, you'll learn about the versatile Iris Folding Quilt Block and how to create it. Plus, get hands-on practice making several adventuresome origami animals. Emily will also be available to answer any questions you may have about her online and in-person classes.

Don't forget.... this event is live and will NOT be recorded! If you register, Emily will send you most of the necessary resources prior to the webinar. But be sure to provide your own scissors and a double-sided tape runner. Gather your materials and join us live for this exciting chance to get creative and have some fun with fellow summer library adventurers!

In this webinar, you will:

  • Participate in a creative process with colleagues
  • Determine if paper crafting would be a program for your library community
  • Develop an appreciation for paper crafting

Meet guest presenter Emily Mallory. Emily Mallory's lifelong interest in quilling and other paper arts led to the opening of Emily's Papercrafts in 2011. Emily has taught countless papercrafting classes at public libraries, coffeeshops, retirement homes, and private parties as well as online. Emily's work is available for purchase on her website as well as through her Etsy shop and Amazon store. Emily and her husband Ron live in Mulvane, KS with their three children.
